Toshiba Promotes Tom Pappas to Channel Sales Manager
IRVINE, CA, OCTOBER 10, 2014 -- Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., has promoted Toshiba veteran Tom Pappas to Channel Sales Manager from Field Support Engineer, responsible for a territory spanning thirteen western states.
"Talent, hard work and a consistent record of success over the course of six years prepared Tom for this challenge," said Greg Hartzell, Senior Manager of Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products. "I look forward to working with Tom in his new position."
In his role as Channel Sales Manager, Pappas will be responsible for developing and qualifying new channel partners, as well as enhancing relationships with existing Toshiba customers to increase profitability and improve sales volumes. Toshiba makes a full line of IP video products ranging from megapixel IP cameras and NVRs, to analog products and software.
Prior to joining Toshiba in 2008, Pappas served as Vice President of Operations for Pappas Distribution International, a dealer and distributor of security products and A/V equipment. Before this, he was a systems sales engineer for Panasonic for eleven years, a position he was promoted to at the company from Broadcast Video Engineer and Technician.
