| IRVINE, CA, August 23, 2006 -- Tosh iba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group and DSX Access Systems, Inc. announced today the development of software integrating Toshiba Surveillix digital video recorders with DSX access control systems.
An application programming interface (API) being offered by the two companies adds verification and consolidated management control for Toshiba Surveillix DVRs to DSX access control solutions, including its robust WinDSX application, its Enterprise Class WinDSX - SQL security management system, and its dynamic DSX-Soft I/O package .
As a result, video surveillance and access control operate as a transparent system, enabling security professionals to retrieve more complete security information from a single workstation.
