Toshiba Appoints Jeffrey Kunzler Channel Program Manager
Surveillance Industry Veteran to Oversee Channel Sales Development for Toshiba IP Network Cameras, Digital Recorders, Software
IRVINE, CA, July 8, 2010 -- Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the appointment of Jeffrey Kunzler as Channel Program Manager for North America. In this role, Mr. Kunzler will be responsible for implementing the business unit's aggressive growth strategy and aligning resources with its VAR partners.
A seasoned professional with successful tenure at companies such as D-Link and Canon, Mr. Kunzler brings to Toshiba extensive experience selling in the IP surveillance market, along with a background in channel marketing programs, sales training, and client/vendor relations. He will report directly to Sergio Collazo, National Sales & Marketing Manager, Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video.
"Jeff is a results-driven sales professional with a fifteen-year record of achievement and demonstrated success in video products, as well as reseller/channel management and distribution development. He'll make a strong addition to our team," Collazo said.
Mr. Kunzler was most recently National Account/Business Development Manager of Network Video Solutions for D-Link Systems, Inc. where he more than doubled annual revenues by focusing on new partner acquisition, existing partner growth and incremental end-user sales of the company's IP cameras and digital recording systems. Prior to this, he served as National Account Manager for Barr Security in Naples, FL, a start-up venture of security products for the educational and enterprise market. At Barr Security Mr. Kunzler successfully managed several rep firms, national accounts and distributors in a multi-million dollar, twenty-five state territory. He has also distinguished himself as a top performer in regional sales management positions for Viewcast Corporation, Canon U.S.A., and Mitsubishi Electronics.
Mr. Kunzler attended DePaul University, Chicago, IL.
