Toshiba Names New Marketing and Programs Manager

Karena Lang Joins Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video

IRVINE, CA, May 5, 2010 -- Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced a valuable addition to its sales team by bringing on board Karena Lang as Marketing and Programs Manager. In her new role, Lang will be a strategic member of the management team and oversee marketing communications, promotions, programs, tradeshow support, and the development of Toshiba’s popular ProfitMAX® reseller program.

A thirteen-year Toshiba veteran, Lang joins Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video from the company’s Telecommunications Division where as Marketing Manager she successfully supervised multi-million marketing programs in a dealer channel that numbered over 800 locations in the United States. Lang has been involved in the profitable launch of multiple Toshiba products, including the celebrated Strata® VoIP business communications systems.

Today’s announcement was made by Sergio Collazo, Director of Sales and Marketing for Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video: "With her impressive track record, Karena brings a tremendous depth and breadth of marketing capability to our business unit. Prior to joining Toshiba, Lang served as Marketing Manager for Castrol® Industrial in Irvine, California. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
